Design better handovers between your people and your agents.

A LITTLE PERSPECTIVE. A CLEARER NEXT STEP.

Define permission to act.

An assistant that suggests and an agent that acts need different levels of oversight. Define what information is accessible, which actions are allowed and what needs approval. A clear, visible rule is often more useful than autonomy that is difficult to explain.

Keep exceptions visible.

A workflow should show what has happened, what still needs approval and what could not be completed. A person should be able to take over without reconstructing the whole story. Designing this handover from the start makes automation easier to adopt and improve.
